Why I Became an Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractor
People often ask me why I chose Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic.
The answer is simple.
I didn’t choose this path because I read about it in a textbook.
I chose it because I lived it.
Long before I became a chiropractor, I was a patient searching for answers just like so many people who walk through our doors today.
💡 My Journey Began as a Patient
“Everything I teach patients today comes from both my education and my own experience. I know what it’s like to be frustrated, to be in pain, and to wonder if you’ll ever feel like yourself again.”
Growing Up With Physical Challenges
As a child, I dealt with scoliosis and torticollis. I also experienced frequent ear infections and recurring illness.
Those early experiences introduced me to chiropractic care, but I was still searching for something that truly addressed the underlying problem—not just the symptoms.
At the time, I had no idea those experiences would eventually shape my career.
A Car Accident Changed Everything
When I was 18 years old and attending college, I was rear-ended in a motor vehicle accident.
After the accident, I struggled with significant low back pain, sciatica, disc injuries, and a concussion. Like many people dealing with chronic pain, I simply wanted my life back.
That’s when I met an Atlas Orthogonal chiropractor.
She explained that by correcting the alignment of my upper cervical spine, it could influence the mechanics of my entire spine.
I’ll be honest—I didn’t completely understand it.
But I trusted the process.
Experiencing the Difference
Over time, something remarkable happened.
My body began to change.
The low back pain that had become part of my daily life improved. The sciatica that once traveled down my leg gradually resolved. I also noticed improvements in other aspects of my health that I never expected.
That experience completely changed the direction of my life.
It also changed the type of chiropractor I wanted to become.
🧠What I Learned
I realized that the body has an incredible ability to heal when it’s given the opportunity.
Sometimes that opportunity begins by restoring proper structure so the nervous system can function with less interference.
Why I Believe So Strongly in Atlas Orthogonal
One of the things I appreciate most about Atlas Orthogonal is its precision.
Every correction is based on detailed measurements and individualized imaging.
There isn’t a “one size fits all” adjustment because every patient is different.
That philosophy has stayed with me throughout my career.
I don’t believe in treating everyone the same.
I believe in listening first, evaluating carefully, and creating a plan that’s as unique as the person sitting in front of me.
What I Hope Every Patient Understands
If there’s one message I hope every patient takes away from our office, it’s this:
Your body was designed to heal.
Healing doesn’t always happen overnight, and it doesn’t always happen the way we expect. But I’ve seen time and time again what can happen when people stop chasing symptoms and start looking for the underlying cause.
That’s the philosophy our practice was built on, and it’s the philosophy that continues to guide every patient we care for today.
The Corsello Difference
Upper Cervical Health of Connecticut isn’t just where I practice—it’s a reflection of my own journey.
I know what it’s like to search for answers. I know what it’s like to wonder if you’ll ever get better.
That’s why every patient who walks through our doors is treated with the same compassion, patience, and attention I was fortunate enough to receive years ago.
Whether you’re struggling with neck pain, migraines, vertigo, sciatica, back pain, or another chronic condition, our goal is to help you understand your health, answer your questions, and determine whether Atlas Orthogonal care may be appropriate for you.
